    Born Steven Thomas Brotherton in Waukegan, Illinois to Thomas Brotherton and Cheslene Janssen. Currently living in Twin Lakes Wi.
Steve began drumming at 18 yrs. old with his 1st band ROCTAVE, covering Zepplin, Journey, Foreigner ,Jethro Tull and others. Steve's band history includes RUMBLE TONE, FULL TILT, LYZ, JUMPIN' BONE, BOUNTY HUNTER, ROCKSLIDE, HIGHWAY JONES, SWIFT KICK, RUDE AWAKENING, SUSPECT, WILD ORCHID, THE LOST CANYON BAND, AND SMOKIN' GUNZ. Steve's early influences are Grand Funk Railroad, early Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Genesis, King Crimson , and Frank Zappa. When Steve heard the creativity of the band "Yes", he was immediately hooked and his tastes went toward the more creatively progressive artists. One of his favorite bands is Spock's Beard.(Check em' out !  You won't believe your ears,  Ha!). Long live PROG!

 His favorite drummers are Bill Bruford, Allan White, Nick D'virgilio, Neal Pert, John Bonham ect.

Steve uses a 6 piece DW Italian marble finish kit with a 22 inch kick, 10 12 14 and 16 inch toms, Yamaha Bill Bruford Special Edition snare and an aluminum shell semi-piccolo by Trick snares (Their first one ever sold) and other snares. Zildjian and Paiste cymbals. A DW 7 piece converted to an E-Drum kit. A Roland TD-25KVX on a custom rack. A Roland TD-20X module, and a Pearl MIMIC Pro module.
